Recently Forbes teamed up with Nextdoor.com to look at cities with populations between 5,500 and 150,000. After analyzing 500 of them they ranked Frisco as the 6th friendliest city in the United States. Its no doubt to our residents that our town is simply outstanding! Since 2000 our population has grown at an incredibly fast pace from around 40,000 to 120,000. The citizens of Frisco have everything to do with this rating. With 80% of homes occupied by owners we have large participation from them in our Neighbohood Watch program.
 

Blood Tests Divide Supreme Court

The current Supreme Court case, Missouri v. McNeely, has the justices divided on an unsurprisingly controversial issue. Two years ago 25-year-old Tyler McNeely was stopped in the wee hours of the morning under suspected drunk driving. After failing several field sobriety tests, McNeely refused to provide a breath sample, and was immediately subjected to a blood test. Although the test revealed that McNeely was certainly above the legal blood-alcohol limit, the manner in which the sample was acquired is now being questioned. The case is examining whether law enforcement officials should be allowed to extract a blood sample in cases where a driver refuses a breathalyzer exam.
