Two Eldorado Traffic Alerts

  • PDF
As part of TxDOT's widening project of FM 2934 (Eldorado Parkway), the traffic pattern at the intersection of Eldorado Parkway and Dallas Parkway will be switched on Thursday, July 9.  Traffic on Eldorado Parkway will be switched so that two-way traffic will be operating on the new northern half of the roadway for several weeks.  This will allow TxDOT to begin paving the travel lanes on the south side of Eldorado Parkway. The travel lanes on Eldorado Parkway under the Dallas North Tollway bridge will be changed and restriped to accommodate this traffic switch.

In addition, on Thursday, July 9, the westbound lanes of Eldorado Parkway will be closed at Legacy Drive.  These lanes are expected to be closed at 9 a.m. and to reopen by 3 p.m.  During this closure, all traffic heading west on Eldorado Parkway will have to turn left or right at Legacy Drive and use Panther Creek Parkway or Main Street as an alternate route.  The eastbound lanes on Eldorado Parkway will remain open during this closure.

Motorists are urged to use caution during both this closure and after the traffic switch.
