Special Tree Debris 'Pick Up' Service to Start June 22nd

  • PDF

A free, special storm debris 'pick up' service will start Monday, June 22 and end on Friday, June 26 for Frisco residents, only.
Service is restricted to trees and limbs, limited in size, only.  No fencing or tree stumps will be accepted.

"We're starting this service on June 22 to allow time for residents to gather their debris over the next two weekends," said Pippa Couvillion,  Environmental Services Manager.   Guidelines for this special service are as follows:

Each tree or limb must be no more than 8 inches in diameter, weigh less than 80 pounds, and cannot exceed 15 feet in length.

Remove tree debris from personal property. This step is required before collection can occur. Place debris at the curb or alley, whichever is closest to where damage
occurred. Keep debris out of the street.  Do not obstruct pedestrian walkways when placing debris out for 'pick up'.

Do not place tree debris on your driveway or near your garage as this will result in non-collection. Tree debris that does not meet guidelines will not be collected. Pick up must be scheduled. Services provided to residential homes only (no commercial accounts) The city's regular yard waste pickup service is not affected by this special service designed for tree damage resulting from storms.

To schedule service contact Environmental Services at 972-292-5900. Requests for service must be scheduled at least two (2) days prior to your regularly scheduled trash pick up day.  When calling to schedule service, please leave your name, telephone number, address and the location of  debris. Specify whether debris is stacked at the curb or the alley.
