The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) will
host a public hearing on the second ten-year Lead Maintenance Plan for
Collin County today, April 20 beginning at 1 p.m. The public hearing will
be held in the Frisco City Council Chambers located inside the George A.
Purefoy Municipal Center, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd.

All Star Avenue (CR 712) is now reopen to traffic and
reconnects North County Road to Frisco Street. The section of road
provides more convenient access to Pizza Hut Park from the east. All Star
Avenue gives drivers another option to travel east and west without having
to drive south to Main Street or north to Eldorado Parkway.
The road was closed for reconstruction to allow crews to replace the old
asphalt road with concrete.

TxDOT has switched eastbound traffic on Eldorado Parkway
(FM 2934), from FM 423 to Legacy Drive, to the new concrete pavement.
Both directions of traffic on Eldorado Parkway are now on the new concrete
pavement.
Motorists are urged to use caution in the area as traffic adjusts to the
switch.

Thursday, April 9 (Overnight):
North-and-southbound lanes of Custer Road between the Sam Rayburn Tollway
(SRT)/SH 121 frontage roads will be closed from 7 p.m. on Thursday, April
9, until 6 a.m. on Friday, April 10. The closures are needed for
construction crews to do bridge work over Custer Road.
Monday, April 13 through Saturday, April 18:
North-and-southbound lanes of Custer Road between the Sam Rayburn Tollway
(SRT)/SH 121 frontage roads will be closed from 7 p.m. on Monday, April
13, until 6 a.m. on Saturday, April 18. These closures are needed for
construction crews to do bridge work over Custer Road.
The North Texas Tollway Authority schedules closures at times when traffic
is the lightest. All closures are subject to weather conditions and will
be postponed, if necessary.
Starting today, one lane of the southbound Dallas Parkway
will be closed between Main Street and Cotton Gin Road through Thursday,
April 16. Crews are repairing the pavement. Southbound traffic will have
to merge into the right lane, 500 feet south of the traffic signal at Main
Street.
Motorists are urged to use caution in the area while the repairs are
underway.
