Joined by the passion for baking and the love for children, Sweet & Eccentric (S&E) comes together to help raise money for non-profit organizations dedicated to children. Our goal is to invest in the future of our community by raising money and awareness for the different organizations dedicated to ensuring that our greatest resource, our children, are nurtured, loved and allowed to reach their fullest potential.
Founder and owner, Paula Sosamon, has brought her amazing homemade and elegantly packaged tortes to life and is offering them to the people of North Texas at a very reasonable price. The goal is to allow the customers to purchase an elegant product at a sensible price and in turn help the community at the same time. Thru their unique approach, S&E is able to help these non-profits create awareness for their cause thru their rapidly expanding business and social networks. They also help financially by donating the proceeds of their torte sales to the sponsored organization of the month.
Since the launch of S&E they have partnered with Scott’s Helping Hands (S.H.H.) and Crimes Against Kids Eliminated (C.A.K.E!); two wonderful organizations that are working hard to ensure the youth of our community are getting the help they need. In the month they partnered with SHH, S&E was able to help create awareness by sponsoring a fundraising event held at Stone Creek Terrace in Frisco and emceed by 570AM KILF’s Jeff Bolton. In December they united with C.A.K.E! and were able to help the group spread the word about their mission thru local events and social network. In the month of January they are partnering with Frisco Cares. Another fantastic organization that is truly concerned about the health of the children in our community. The goal is to make people aware of these organizations who may not have otherwise heard about them and to get people to “taste the chance to make a difference.”
