Clearly a message being sent to Frisco Politicians that the Tea Party and smaller more responsible government starts at home. Mr. Keating made it clear that he was not a one issue candidate. However, the voters that we spoke with were focused on the $16 million in new debt that Frisco is schedule to sell to support the Collin County Arts Center. Mr. Keating promised to vote to put that issue back to the Frisco Tax Payers in November. The tea party and people on both sides of the issue quickly drew battle lines.
