Frisco, TX Home sales in December of 2009 are up again for the 7th month in a row compared to sales data from 2008. In December of 2009 there were 210 homes sold (closed) in Frisco as compared to 164 homes that sold in December of 2008.
For Frisco Tx these are strong numbers considering the weather and the continued tightening of the mortgage guidelines. This is excellent news for the Frisco economy, not only are home sales continuing to increase but it appears that the bottom of our market took place in the mid to end of 2008 Although, there still remains many foreclosures, there are still not as many as were predicted. Home Owners are still able to short sale their properties which has helped keep them out of Foreclosure. The Average Days on market hovered down in the low 80's with the Average price Per Sq foot moving up just a little. This is a great end to the year with total Homes Sold at 2790. The Frisco Economy is strong and growing and the growth in sales continues to back that up. All in all this continues to be good news for the Frisco Real Estate Market
