The Word Center in Frisco and Kingdom of Life International has together formed a Christian outreach program called Frisco Reach Out. The purpose and goal of the non-profit program is to reach the needs of the Frisco Residents that need it the most.

Back in August, Frisco Reach Out held its first drive in which over 400 people participated in the giving. They received over 250 sets of school supplies for Frisco students  of many ages.

Part of Frisco Reach Out is the Frisco Cares Children’s Clinic. This clinic treats those who do not have insurance and can not afford to pay for care. At the event last August they treated over 45 children in conjunction with the school supply drive.

With the past drives success, Frisco Reach Out will be holding a canned and cash drive at The Joy of Christmas, which will be held Saturday, December 12th.  

They will be collecting canned goods, cash donations, and toys for Frisco families in need. Medical care will also be provided for those who need it by the doctors at the Frisco Cares Children’s Clinic.

The event will start at 7:30 am at the Word Center Church in old downtown Frisco. The church is located at Oak and Sixth.
