America's Tea Party

On July 4th, 2009, thousands of citizens from all over are expected at South Fork Ranch to celebrate our Independence Day.  Put on by the group behind the Dallas Tea Party organization, this historic event will be one for the ages.

America’s Tea party is to take place from 3pm-Midnight on July 4th. The event will cover a vast array of patriotic activities. There will be vendors, booths, games, prizes, and drinks and food for sale. A fireworks display will take place at 9:30pm. Mickey Dolenz from the Monkees will also provide musical entertainment as well as other performers from the area.

There will be numerous speakers including Fox News Contributor Michelle Malkin, Pilot Scott O’Grady, Empower Texas CEO Michael Quinn Sullivan, and Texas State Director of Americans for Prosperity Peggy Venable. All speakers will focus on empowering citizen’s to take a stand against on-going irresponsible spending, endless bailouts, and government officials that are making decisions that go against the Constitution.

The Dallas Tea Party Organization will also be holding a fundraiser on Monday night, June 22nd and another on June 30th at Cape Buffalo in Addison. This is a voulnteer meeting to finalize what is still needed to be done for the Tea Party on July 4th. Those running the event need all the help they can get.
