The Frisco City Council called a special meeting on Monday afternoon to decide whether or not to revote on a $19 million bond package that was passed in 2002 to help fund the Arts of Collin County. After an hour long executive session council came out and publically stated their opinions for the record and the public in attendence. No public comment was heard but the comment cards were taken and will be added to the minutes. Council decided that they would take no action on the item therefore it will not appear on the May 2010 ballot. They also said that they don't feel like right now is the correct time to sell the bonds and would like to take a more active role in the project.
