Tomorrow morning members of the Frisco, Allen, Plano and McKinney Chambers of Commerce will make their way down to Austin to take part in the Collin County days .
The Frisco Chamber president Tony Felker said that there are about 100 people from the Collin County chambers making the trip to Austin.
It’s not a legislative year but “we are trying to get a little bit ahead of the game,” Felker said.
Thursday the chamber members will get a chance to hear about key issues such as transportation and energy, taxes and healthcare that will be coming up in the 2011 legislative year. Friday they will hear about ways that they can help businesses in their area lobby for issues that affect them.
“We want to let business’ know they can have an impact,” Felker said.
