Healthcare has been a hot topic lately. News of new plans and bills are flooding the headlines every day. While the nation works out the kinks on the national healthcare stage, it’s comforting to know that our Frisco kids are taken care of. And now, the same services that are offered for our uninsured Frisco kids are now being offered to uninsured adults in the area as well.
Since in 2005, Frisco Cares Clinic has been treating pediatric patients that are without insurance. The clinic will now also be seeing uninsured adults for a small cost of $10.
Dr. Mitra Calanes offers her services at the clinic on Wednesday evenings. Adult registration will begin at 5 p.m. and she will begin seeing patients at 6 p.m.
