Frisco City Council Member, Pat Fallon has pledged to lose 40 pounds or donate $25,000 to Frisco Family Services.
December 22nd is Day 1 of the Get Pat Fit campaign.... or if you work for Frisco Family Services, the Keep Pat Fat campaign.
The idea of the campaign is for Mr. Fallon to shape up and shed forty pounds in four months, or donate to the local Frisco Charity, Frisco Family Services. The agency of course promotes healthy living, but they certainly could use the money – especially with all of the additional families that need assistance this year.
Pat Fallon weighed in at the Frisco Athletic Center to where his starting point was. He was in shock when he saw the scale and realized how much weight he had actually gained. Mr. Fallon stands at 242 pounds and 28.4% percent body fat, which technically puts him in the category of being obese.
Mr. Fallon will be documenting his experience with daily blog entries, in hopes that others with a weight issue might follow his lead.
As a part of the challenge for the charity, Pat Fallon will be collecting pledges along the way for pounds lost. These pledges will be donated to Frisco Family Services.
