At 2:51 p.m. on Feb. 5, officers with the Frisco Police Department’s Special Operations Unit (SOU) and negotiators were activated in response to a possible barricaded person at the residence in the 9300-block of Penton Place. The police had been called to the address earlier in the day when the homeowner called and reported that an acquaintance had entered the residence uninvited and possibly armed
Glenn Harvick, 38, of Oak Point turned himself over to police at approximately 4:32 p.m. Harvick was not armed at the time of his arrest. Friday he was charged with an outstanding warrant out of Dallas County for Driving While Intoxicated (2nd offense).
Following detectives’ investigation additional charges have been filed against Harvick for:
· Possession of a Controlled Substance, PG1 ( less than one gram), for methamphetamine
· Possession of a Controlled Substance, PG1 ( more than four grams but less than 200 grams), for GHB; and
· Kidnapping
Harvick is being held on a $453,000 bond at the Collin County Jail. All three charges are considered felonies. The kidnapping victim was the woman who's home he was in prior to surrendering to police.
