Frisco could see some bad weather starting Wednesday and going through Friday.
“Well right now precipitation starting as a snow rain mix is holding through Wednesday night,” said National Weather Service Meteorologist Dennis Cavanaugh about the Collin County area. “By evening hours Thursday should be snow.”
The snowfall will be an inch to inch and a half.
Friday morning drivers could encounter ice on bridges and overpasses. Cavanaugh said drivers could benefit from leaving for work early that day because traffic is likely to mover slower than normal.
The wind for those days is expected to be 10 to 15 MPH which will make this storm much less intense than the storm on Christmas Eve when parts of Collin County saw gusts up to 50 MPH.
