Frisco Landscaping HOA Requirements

Many prospective residence of the Frisco area are concerned about HOA requirements for their Frisco neighborhood HOAs. One common concern is the landscaping requirements. Although most HOA's around Frisco like Willow Bay, do not have limit on the number of trees or shrubs, they do require proper maintenance like mowing, keeping trees healthy and trimmed and keep the weed population as low as possible.

Willow Bay does have requirements for trees on lots. The lots are required to have two shade trees with at least 3 inch caliper at the time of planting. The trees can be any combination of the following:

Bur Oak
Chinquapin Oak
Live Oak
Red Oak, Peca,
Texas Ash
Bald Cypress
Cedar Elm
Allee Lacebark Elm
Bosque Lacebark Elm
Southern Magnolia
Bigtooth Maple
Caddo Maple
Durand Oak
Common Persimmon
Chinese Pistachio
and Black Locust

Placement can be anywhere in your yard,  substitutions for these listed trees must be approved by the City of Frisco's Planning and Development.

Are you unsure about the HOA requirements in your prospective neighborhood? Need to replace trees because of the summer droughts? Please contact Frisco's Tree Farm or (972) 747-9233 for more information of HOA requirements and Frisco Landscape Requirements.
