The Frisco Police Department were notified by a resident on Monday, January 31, 2011, at approximately 1:20 p.m. that an unknown person was attempting to break into his home.  The home is located in the 10400 block of Napa Valley Drive in Frisco, TX.  The officers quickly responded to the call and arrested two male suspects, while two additional male suspects were reported to have fled.

While the two offenders who fled on foot have yet to be arrested, the officers do know their identity and are aggressively working to make their arrests.  The two offenders who were captured are currently being held at the Frisco City Jail and no bond has been set at this moment.

As a standard safety procedure, two Frisco ISD schools were placed on preventative lockdown; Shawnee Trail Elementary School and Beary Best Academy, due to their close proximity to the attempted break in.  This is done to ensure that the fleeing offenders did not attempt to enter the schools who were in the nearby vicinity of the said burglary.  The lockdowns were maintained for about 45 minutes following the crime alert.

How fitting is it that the only team with more Super Bowl wins than the Dallas Cowboys will be competing in Super Bowl XLV in the new Cowboys' stadium in Arlington, TX on February 6th, 2011.  The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the New York Jets this past Sunday to advance to their 7th Super Bowl.  The Steelers will be facing the Green Bay Packers, who came into the postseason as the 6th seed.  They had to beat the Philadelphia Eagles, Atlanta Falcons and the Chicago Bears to become the second 6th seeded team to ever reach the Super Bowl and the first from the NFC.  The Packers were 10-6 in the regular season and if they beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV they could tie the 1988 San Francisco 49ers and the 2007 New York Giants for the worst record by a Super Bowl champion.

As you all know Dallas is home to a lot of obnoxious loud Steelers fans, so I imagine Cowboys' stadium is going to be jammed packed with black and yellow.  The game will be all about defense, Charles Woodson vs. Troy Polamlu.  Look for this game to be low scoring and more of a defensive game.  Both teams will be chasing history, so I hope Arlington is ready to be taken over by the Steel Curtain, and chasing cheeseheads.
