The Texas Tornadoes cant seem to get it together losing their 5Th consecutive game on Wednesday night. They hosted the Fairbanks Ice Dogs at the Dr. Pepper arena. After fighting back and despite Jack Prince going for a hat trick, they let the game slip away in overtime 7-6, but did mange to get a point in the loss. This was the highest goal count in a game for Jack Prince. Texas seemed to match the Ice Dogs goal to goal, but just couldn't finish them off. It looks like that's what they are lacking are a finisher. Texas Goalie once again had his work cut for him saving 37 on 44 shots. The one thing that seems to kill the Tornadoes are penalties. They committed two in the overtime loss. One of which ended up being the game winning power play goal for Fairbanks. This is only the first of three games these two teams will play in the series. Texas will also host Fairbanks Friday and Saturday night. hopefully they can put an end to this losing streak and get that finishing touch back.
