The Preston Lakes area, located just northeast of Rolater off of Hillcrest, is known for it's street names. This area is also referred to by many residents as "The Ship Streets". With clever street names such as Canoe, Inlet, Gulf, Anchor, and Harbor, Preston Lakes has a clean feel to it. There are approximately 300 or so homes in the neighborhood, ranging anywhere from $150,000-$300,000. Preston Lakes is a very kid friendly neighborhood with a park right in the center of the community. Also in the same vicinity as the park, you will find Gunstream Elementary, which is in walking distance from any house in Preston Lakes. If you take a walk down Harbor on any given day, you may see geese walking up and down the street or ducks sitting in various lawns through out the neighborhood. Also in Preston Lakes there is a pond where residents can go fishing, or walk the trail that follows the pond around it's circumference.
