$4.9 Billion in Tax Cuts for Texas Taxpayers – Rep. Pat Fallon

The following is from Rep. Pat Fallo.

I’ve never met one tax cut I didn’t like (sales tax, property tax or any other). That being said – I’m only able to vote on those that come before me in the Texas House of Representatives.

Earlier this week I was honored to Co-Author and vote YES on two separate bills that will end up saving taxpayers nearly $5 Billion.

HB 31 reduces the sales tax rate from 6.25 percent to 5.95 percent, resulting in the first ever state sales tax reduction in Texas history.  HB 32, also known as the Business Income Tax, addresses burdensome business taxes by providing a 25 percent across the board franchise tax cut. Every Texan will benefit from these cuts!

These two tax-saving measures cannot be taken away without a future vote of the Legislature. Both are headed to the Senate for consideration.

If you agree with HB 31 and 32 please join us in becoming a Citizen Co-sponsor!  To do so all you have to do is respond to this email and let us know or visit our Facebook page to LIKE the post and leave a comment.
As always, our office understands that we work for you and very much appreciate your support. Thanks so much and God Bless!
