CTE Students Take Home the Gold

The Career and Technical Education Center Student Media Division of Frisco ISD-TV received two gold medals and one silver medal in three categories of Broadcasting Individual Achievement Awards.

Frisco ISD-TV received 1st Place in the Feature Story category for First Dance by Maria Lempke that chronicles sixth graders as they experience their first middle school dance and 1st Place in the Sports Feature Story category for A Pretty Pace by Bailey Stone that runs alongside Borchardt Elementary School’s Girls on the Run team.

Frisco ISD-TV also received 2nd Place in the Documentary category for Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead by Abbey Cumnock that gives viewers a glimpse inside Frisco ISD’s Mindbender Academy camp held each summer.

Frisco ISD-TV Executive Producer Eva Coleman participated in the Adviser’s Challenge and received 2nd Place in Subjective Writing for Pay(roll) It Forward that gives a heartfelt account of how culinary arts students honored the memory of a dearly loved Frisco ISD employee.
