Nearly 650 students at Curtsinger Elementary worked together to create a massive work of art using paint, modge-podge, recycled cardboard and paper towel and toilet paper rolls.
The relief sculpture, entitled “Celebrate Curtsinger!” will be permanently displayed in the cafeteria.
It is meant to show unity as Curtsinger prepares to celebrate its 20th anniversary this fall. It includes 20 sailboats – one for each year Curtsinger has been open.
