DECA Students Make Finals at International Competition in Orlando

Frisco Schools

Several Frisco ISD DECA students were qualifiers and winners at the International Career Development Conference held April 25-28 in Orlando.

FISD sent more than 40 International qualifiers to compete with over 18,000 marketing students worldwide.

DECA is a non-profit student organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.

Just advancing to the International Conference is a significant accomplishment. Only 6 percent of Texas DECA students advance to compete at Internationals and only 0.5 percent of the 18,000 students who compete at Internationals make the stage.
