Recent Graduates Receive Grande Communications Scholarship

2015 Centennial High School graduates Janet Li, Jordan Burnison and Allison McGraw were all recipients of the Grande Employee Memorial Scholarship (GEMS) through Grande Communications.

The scholarship opportunity is open to all high school students living in the Grande service area. Students apply for the scholarship and must meet the following criteria: 1) Exemplify the Grande Value System: We act with integrity and respect, We deliver on our commitments to our stakeholders, We are easy to do business with, We promote personal growth and development, We serve our customers with passion and commitment, 2) Exhibit financial need, 3) Not be an employee or relative of Grande employees, 4) Show high community activity experience, deep commitment to integrity, and career-directed academic and social conscience.

The amount of the scholarship varies each year based on the availability of funds and the eligibility of applicants.
